A photon space house is designed for a healthy living. It is made of glass that lets in a flood of natural light. Basic idea behind this space house is impact of light on human living and importance of adequate amount of sunlight in the house.

Composition and Structure
Photon Space house is made up of curved double-glazed glass walls. These walls allow natural light to enter but these block harmful radiations of the sun. These radiations include Ultraviolet Light and sounds. The glass Walls have the capability to turn dark in order to protect privacy and thus feature is controlled by a telephone app (Idea Connection, 2014). The research and experimentation shows that a single house can be built in a time period of four weeks (Idea Connection, 2014). It can be installed almost anywhere due to simple construction it requires using light glass and steel frame. It can be built in the shape of an office or a café or a visitor centre.

Double-glazed glass has high insulation and performance and it only captures adequate amount of light.

Healthy Living and Medical Implications“Photon Living” as it is called has various medical implications and it is considered as a solution or medical treatment. Professor Russell Foster from Oxford University has done much research in this regard. In a 250mm all glass house, it is easier to gather data and new technologies can be used to propose solutions in a Built Environment provided by the Photon Space House (Foster, 2014). In such an environment, there is least chance of exposure of human body to dangerous components of sunlight. Also, if we are more exposed to natural and healthy sunlight, human circadian rhythms work more properly and body regulates itself more efficiently. Transparent house improves one’s wellbeing and it may release people from stress (Zimmer, 2014). The location in this regard plays an important role. Construction of photon house does not damage the environment.

Commercial Use and Construction CostsPhoton houses are becoming popular especially as offices and visiting rooms on roof tops of sky scrapers. According to a report, a London based company is starting commercial construction of photon houses which will be built on country side or on roof tops (O'Callaghan, 2014). Estimated costs of building a 485 square-feet house will cost around £210,000. Mainly cost is associated with hi-tec glass that is used to build this house. There is living room, a kitchen and a bedroom with attached bathroom. Luxurious versions of the house may cost up to £410,000 (Lockerdome, 2014).

Most certainly living in a park or city Centre in a glass house is not suggested. So locatio plays an important in cost of location where this house is to be built.
Major ConcernsMany people are like to live a healthy living a photon house, many people have issues. If the sun is down it will required running an air conditioner in the photon house. The space is too small and large families (Lockerdome, 2014) will not be able to use it. Cost is another concern. Still most of people who fall in low income groups may not have financial stretch to buy these homes.
